Manuel receives a book to aid in his learning!

Dear Bradley and Emily,

Manuel lives in the small village of Paquip, Guatemala. During the Christmas Holidays he borrowed a book from the mobile library, BIBLIOTECO, and when he returned it, he said: “Thank you for lending this book, it was of great help during the holidays. I used the dictionary to look up the words I did not know, and now I know twenty new words.”

Clearly Manuel has a passion for learning and due to his location, he is not always able to receive quality books that aid in his education. He is ten years old and his first language and the one spoken at home is Kaqchikel. Since Spanish is the language most used at school, enriching his vocabulary is of great importance to Manuel’s education.

Thank you for supporting Manuel in his studies! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
