Studying and dreaming of a better future

Yuleidy Cruz
Dear Caroline,

Yuleidy received the scholarship you so generously donated. She is an excellent student. In this photo you see her carrying the Guatemalan flag, which is an honor reserved for the best students.  She will graduate in 2013, and plans to work and save money so that she can go to University. She is the first in the family to go to high school, and if it were not for the scholarship she would not be able to do so or have dreams for her future.
When her father died three years ago, her mother abandoned the family.  Yuleidy’s sisters work to pay for rent and food and make it possible for her to continue studying. They are all looking forward to the day Yuleidy graduates and are very thankful to you.
